Sue Haseltine is a Brighton based artist who specialises in printmaking and painting. Her work is inspired by nature and the landscape, frequently focusing on the South Downs, as well as Cornwall, Devon and Scotland.
Lino cuts, drypoints, screenprints and paintings originate from her observations and memories of this landscape, where she works faithfully from direct observation and her experience of being outside.
Sue teaches painting, drawing and printmaking at her studio on a weekly basis and also offers summer workshops, demonstrations and Saturday workshops. Her practise as an artist informs her teaching and she has a supportive and constructive approach to helping her learners to progress and improve.
There is one space availabe on the Printmaking workshop taking place on Thursday mornings 10.30 - 12.30, all the other weekly classes are now full. There will be some new Saturday workshops starting soon email firstname.lastname@example.org for further information.
