For December Sue Haseltine is taking part in two group shows - The Handmade House, Ditchling which is on for the first two weekends in December and the New England House Open Studios which takes place on 11th, 12th and 13th December 2015.
Sue is running another series of workshops for 2015, she will be uploading details of some new weekend workshops in January. Details of previous courses can be found on the teaching page of this site. Sue is running some weekly workshops but these are currently full for January but there is a waiting list that she can add you to for the next set of courses starting after Easter. She is currently running a Personal Project Workshop on Wednesdays 10-12.30; Painting Wednesdays 2pm - 4pm and on Fridays Portraiture 10am - 12noon and Drawing for improvers 1.30pm - 3.30pm
Sue Haseltine is a painter and printmaker based in Brighton. Her art is inspired by nature and the landscape of the South Downs. Paintings, lino cuts and screenprints originate from her observations and memories of this landscape, where she works faithfully from direct observation whilst also adding abstract elements and text to some images.
Sue teaches painting, drawing and printmaking one-to-one and to small groups. She runs a regular monthly oil painting workshop and delivers painting and drawing classes with the Friends Centre and City College in Brighton. As a result of many years as a graphic designer she also teaches Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator as well.
